Aasma

Hi,

It's been real long time since I last posted. I changed my blog name and designed a signature style logo for myself. So it looks bit different and maybe nice?

Anyway,
Here is a quick tutorial on how I color, shade and highlight any drawing in gimp. Initially I drew this outline in adobe draw and moved it to gimp for further detailing.

Hope it's somehow helpful to you all. :)

It's been few days since I noticed there lies, not bags but a full load of luggage under my eyes and it really is bothering me. Thankfully, I tried few methods that really help me reduce them and also helped give my eyes a soothing feeling.

Which is why, being the nice person I am, I am gonna share five ways you can get rid of your under eye bags!

1. Potatoes

Potatoes are actually very beneficial for your skin, hair and health. In order to use them as an anti under eye bag remedy, peel the skin off and slice them in circles or even semi circles. Put them in the refrigerator for few minutes until they are chill. After which stick them on your eyes for 15-20 minutes. In the end you can wash your face off with warm water. Do this regularly for at least two weeks.

2. Cucumbers

We have all seen cucumbers flaunting their magic on our eyes. The coolness of this vegetable lets the eyes relax properly and the ascorbic plus caffeic acid brings down the water retention. The effective way to use them is pretty simple too.
Slice them in circles and let them chill too in the refrigerator. After few minutes, stick them on your eyes for 15-20 minutes and relax your eyes. That's all! Wash your face later with warm water.

3. Tea Bags

Yes! As surprising as it seems, tea bags can help you getting rid of eye bags/dark circles under your eyes. The caffeine helps shrinking of the blood vessels around the eyes thus reducing the puffiness.
Put two tea bags in warm water until they are moist. Let them cool in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Then all you have to do is place them on your lids and relax for 15-20 minutes and use this hack for at least three weeks and you'll surely see amazing results.

4. Spooning

This ones really the quickest and easiest of all. It cures puffiness real quick. All you need is four spoons and a glass of chilled water with ice in it. Place the spoons in the chilled water and wait until you feel like they are cold. Now place the two spoons backwards on your eyes. After sometime when it feels like the spoons aren't chill enough, put them back in the water and grab the other pair.
The coolness is a temporary solution for puffiness of the eyes. It really gives away a soothing effect to the eyes.

5. Sunscreen

Using sunscreen is very important as it protects the eyes from UV rays which can be pretty harmful. It's also very necessary to choose the right sunscreen for your skin and that would be when you visit your dermatologist so make sure you do that.

Five Factors You Should Take Good Care Of

Drink Lots Of Water

I know you have read this almost everywhere but I am gonna mention it anyway. Water is very essential for your body. Not only it will help you get rid of your eye bags but also do miracles on your hair, skin and health. Dehydration causes the fluids to build up under your eyes which causes dark patches around them.

Reduce Alcohol Intake

Alcohol dehydrates the body causing less water percent in the system.

Balance Salt Intake

The salt in your body has the tendency to retain the water which ultimately causes water retention under the eyes so make sure your salt intake is properly balanced.

8 Hours Sleep

Sleep is very important and half of your problems will be easily solved once you manage the night routine. Avoid using electronic devices (phones, tablets, computers, etc) during nights in the dark and try to minimize the use. Speaking of avoiding, do not rub your eyes please!
Stop Smoking

Smoking dries and weakens out the skin which is also the reason for eye bags.

That's all for today! I hope these tips were helpful to you. Comment below the remedies you tried and if they worked for you. Share them with people who might not want to look like zombies on purpose. ;)

Until next time,
toodles!
